Parent-Guardian Regionalization Survey

Parent-Guardian Regionalization Survey

May 20, 2020

Good Morning Parents/Guardians,

As you may remember, the District has received a grant from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education to explore regionalization for our schools.  The study we are doing seeks to answer two questions:  Should North Brookfield consider regionalizing?  And if the answer to that is yes, which District (Quaboag, Quabbin, or Spencer-East Brookfield) should we regionalize with?

As part of the grant a Regionalization Study Committee was established.  This group of 18 Parents, Community Members, Teachers, Staff, Administrators, and members of the School Committee, Board of Selectmen, and Finance Committee are working with a consultant to do this work.  The Committee will finish its work by submitting a report with recommendations to the School Committee, Selectmen, and Community.  That report will be based on data, information, and research.

As part of the data collection process, the Study Committee is collecting survey data from various stakeholder groups.  This survey is for parents/guardians of students and community members of the town to complete.  Please click this link to complete the community member survey.  Please complete the survey by June 1, 2020.

If you are unable to complete the survey online, there will be hard copies available in the lobby of North Brookfield Elementary School, and the Town Offices.  The completed survey can be returned to North Brookfield Elementary School or the Town Offices.

This data, along with many other pieces of data and information will guide the recommendation of the Regionalization Study Committee.  Thank you in advance for your assistance with this most important process.
